Resort Layout:
The Beach Club is very large inside consisting of a long main building with several three to five storey wings facing the 25 acre Crescent Lake. This Resort is adjoined with the Yacht Club and is conveniently located within walking distance of Epcot, BoardWalk Inn, Swan and Dolphin Resorts and just a short boat ride away from Disney's Hollywood Studios. Guest will find the most peaceful part of the Resort is the eastern most buildings with rooms facing east.

The Beach Club is also part of the Disney Vacation Club. The Beach Club Villas are away from Crescent Lake and the front of the Beach Club Resort entrance. Configured roughly in the shape of a Y, the four and five storey taffy blue buildings continue the nautical theme of the Atlantic seaside.

The Yacht and Beach Club Convention Center has over 73,000 square feet of flexible function space. There are ballrooms, 21 breakout rooms, high-speed internet access, and a dedicated business center which can assist with any typing or copying needs. The 38,000 square foot Grand Harbor Ballroom can accommodate up to 3,000 guests, while Asbury Hall can accommodate functions for up to 1,000.

Guest Rooms:
The 576 guest rooms at the Resort are decorated with soft green tones. There are two views that are available at the Beach Club. The Standard view faces the parking lot, roof or wooded areas. The Water view faces the quiet pool, inner courtyards, Crescent Lake, the BoardWalk Inn, Swan and Dolphin Resorts or Disney's Hollywood Studios. Some rooms have balconies or walk out patios on the ground floor.

A typical guest room is 380 square feet and can accommodate up to five guests and one child under the age of three in a crib. Each room features two queen size beds, a day bed, a table and chairs, TV, ceiling fan, double sinks outside the bathroom area, refrigerator, mini bar, wall safe, phone with data port for a laptop computer, hair dryer, iron and ironing board and a coffee maker with complimentary coffee packets.

The Beach Club does have concierge level and service rooms. All concierge rooms require a special key card to gain entry from the elevator. These suites do come in a variety of sizes.

There are a few rooms at the Beach Club known as King Sico Rooms. These rooms include a king size bed that can fold up into the wall, a small living area with a love seat and coffee table, a sink and countertop and small dining area with a table and two chairs.

The Junior Suite has a large master bedroom with a king size bed, a walk-in closet and an easy chair. French doors separate the living area from the bedroom for privacy. An additional guest can be accommodated with the daybed sofa found in the living area.

Two Bedroom Suite features two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed and large closet. The additional bedroom can sleep up to five people and is furnished with a queen size bed and a daybed sofa. The large living area is spacious enough for informal meetings and has a wet bar and a daybed sofa.

The Nantucket Suite is a one bedroom deluxe suite that includes one and a half bath, an extended balcony and a spacious living area which is furnished with a sofa and table for private dining and a wet bar. The bedroom is furnished with a king size bed and a large jacuzzi style bathtub.

The Newport Suite is an elegant Presidential Suite that is located on the fifth floor. The balcony extends from each room in the suite and provides a view of Stormalong Bay and Crescent Lake. A fireplace is located in the formal living room and a dining room table and wet bar are available to accommodate a party of eight. The master bedroom is furnished with two queen size beds, a walk-in closet and a large jacuzzi style bathtub. The option of an additional connecting junior suite may be added.

Check-In & Check-Out:
Check-in is at 3 pm. It is possible your room may be available prior to that time, but it is not guaranteed. If it is not ready, you can leave your luggage with the Bell Services where it will be stored and then delivered when you are in the room. If you decide to wait around until your room is available, you are welcome to take a dip or relax by the main pool area. There are lockers, changing areas and public restrooms for you to use. You can also head out to a theme park and start enjoying the Disney World magic while your room is being prepared.

Check-out is at 11 am. When paying with a credit card, you will not have to go to the desk to check out. An itemized bill will be hung on your door by 8:30 am on your departure day. If the bill looks fine, you’re all set to depart. Your electronic room key will be deactivated at 11 am. Don’t forget to use Bell Services to help you with your luggage, filled with souvenirs, to your car. If you are taking a bus or taxi to the airport, or leaving later in the day, Bell services will keep your luggage until your transportation arrives.

Dining:
Beaches and Cream is located at the Beach Club Resort and is a '50s type eatery serving burgers, hot dogs, soups, grilled cheese, and ice cream. There are a few small tables and chairs outside Beaches and Cream you can also sit at.

Beach Club Market Place is located at the Beach Club Resort and was opened in 2005 and offers quick service foods, desserts and drinks.

Beach Club Resort features Cape May Café which hosts a daily character breakfast buffet from 7:30 to 11 am featuring Beachy Goofy and his friends. In the evening, the Cafe hosts a Clam Bake buffet.

There are also two lounges at the Beach Club Resort. The Rip Tide and Martha's Vineyard with Martha’s only open in the evenings.

Hurricane Hanna's is a poolside full-service bar which serves food such as burgers and hotdogs located at the Beach Club Resort.

Captain’s Grille is a charming nautical-themed café that offers a menu of American food that is perfect for guests of all ages. Here you can enjoy both a buffet and a la carte menu for breakfast and an a la carte menu for lunch and dinner.

The Yacht Club offers two lounges. The Ale and Compass Lounge, located just off the lobby features specialty coffee and drinks.

The Crew's Cup is located near the Yachtsman Steakhouse at the Yacht Club Resort and serves a multitude of beer, along with your favorite drinks and wines. Appetizers and finger foods are also available here, making the Crew's Cup a nice place for a light evening meal.

Tip:
The best beverage deal at the resorts are the refillable mugs. Available for approximately $13, these sturdy plastic mugs can be purchased through any food court vendors and pizza delivery. The mugs are refillable for the length of your resort stay at any self-serve beverage island found in the food court area. Beverages include soft drinks, coffee, tea, iced tea and coffee and hot chocolate. Milk, fruit juice and alcoholic beverages are not included. The mugs are not refillable at any of the theme parks. This is a very economical deal if you are an avid pop or coffee drinker.

Recreation:
Pool
Stormalong Bay is a three-acre mini water park and playground shared between the Yacht Club and the Beach Club. It has many different sections that encompass its 750,000 gallons of water. There are shallow wading areas that comes complete with sand bottoms. There are also larger and deeper areas, some with sand, some without. A "shipwreck" on the Shore of Crescent Lake provides the entrance to an exciting water slide for the adventurous guests. There is a circular area in Stormalong Bay with water jets that create a current. Lounge chairs are available for relaxing. There is also a waterfall and a couple of hot tubs hidden amongst the scenery.

There is a quiet pool at the Yacht Club, found on the far end of the hotel away from the noise and excitement. There is also a hot tub in the same area. Guests can also use the quiet pool and hot tub on the Beach Club side. This pool is located on the back side of the Beach Club, closest to Epcot.

Health Club
Ship Shape Health Club is located between the Beach and Yacht Club resorts next to Lafferty Place Arcade. Weight-lifting machines, free weights and aerobic machines are available as well as a spa, steam room, sauna and massage therapy.

Jogging
Jogging route maps are available from Lobby Concierge or from the Ship Shape Health Club.

Volleyball
A sand court is located on the Beach Club side of the complex. Equipment use is complimentary for guests and may be obtained at the Stormalong Bay Towel Window.

Arcade
Play pinball and video games at Lafferty Place Arcade which is located next to the Beaches and Cream Soda Shop.

Watercrafts
Pedal boats, watermice, kayaks, canopy boats, pontoon boats or Sea Raycers can be rented to spend some time on the river with. Bicycles and surrey bikes are also available for rent. There may be a 30 minute time limit for each individual use depending on availability, but there is no limit to the number of times you can use the equipment.

Miniature Golf
Fantasia Gardens is a miniature golf course and is located across from the Swan and Dolphin hotels.

Shopping
The Beach Club Marketplace is where you will find Disney and Resort merchandise ane swimwear, books, snacks, same day film processing, and some fresh food to go. The Yacht Club also has the Fittings and Fairings Clothes and Notions store which are located just off its main lobby.

Transportation:
To get to any Disney Resort or theme park you can drive yourself, take a taxi or use the wonderful Disney Transportation System. Disney Transportation includes buses, boats, the monorail and the Magical Express Service.

By Bus:
Theme Parks, Water Parks, Disney Resorts and the Downtown Disney area are accessible by the bus system. Buses travel on routes throughout the Resorts but do not provide direct service between all destinations and require transfer from one bus to another.

Bus service to the Theme Parks begins approximately two hours before opening. Generally buses will run every 20 minutes throughout the day and continue to operate until two hours after park closing. During peak times, buses can get a little crowded, but there is usually another bus that arrives quickly after so guests are not waiting long periods of time. Magic Kingdom is not accessible by bus from the Contemporary Resort, Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and Polynesian Resort. These Resorts provide monorail transportation to the park.

By Boat:
The Disney ferryboats connect the Magic Kingdom to the Transportation and Ticket Center, which is adjacent to the parking lot. Entering the park by ferryboat gives guests a chance to float by some of the Deluxe Resorts. This is also the best way to get the first glimpse of Cinderella Castle. If guests are staying at the Contemporary Resort, Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, Polynesian Resort, Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground or Wilderness Lodge, the Magic Kingdom is accessible by boat at their own water launches.

Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios are accessible by boat from BoardWalk Inn and Villas Resort, the Yacht Club and Beach Club Resorts and the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels.

Downtown Disney is accessible by ferryboat from Disney's Port Orleans Resort and Disney's Old Key West Resort.

By Monorail:
There are three loops to the monorail system. Loop A runs counterclockwise connecting Magic Kingdom and the Ticket and Transportation Center. Loop B runs clockwise along side Loop A and stops at the Ticket and Transportation Center, Polynesian Resort, Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, Magic Kingdom, Contemporary Resort and back to the Ticket and Transportation Center. Loop C runs from the Ticket and Transportation Center to Epcot including a quick tour inside the park around Spaceship Earth. Service generally starts an hour and a half before opening and ends two hours after closing.

If you bring or rent a car, there is plenty of free parking at the Resorts and parks. Depending on your room location, you may or may not be able to park close to your room. Ask when room selection is made.

Things to Know:
Sit on the Beach or stand on the bridge to the Boardwalk and watch the Fireworks from IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth. You can also see the fireworks from the Disney's Hollywood Studios. Walk over the bridge to Boardwalk and stand near the Boardwalk Fries vendor cart and you can see the fireworks from Magic Kingdom too.

Birthday party facilities, including cake, balloons and entertainment are available through the Sandcastle Club. You can even schedule a special Birthday Pontoon boat for IllumiNations.

On the water side of the Beach Club on the public walkway, you will find a portable espresso and frozen drink bar as well as tattoos and hair braiding booths.
