It's been a very long time since I have posted an update on what's going on with myself, Karen and DM.

In February we welcomed a new addition to our Family, Kailey Ryann Kearney. I had been around kids before with now Ex-Girl friends, but having your very own makes a world of difference. I wouldn't trade it for anything... I am as i am sure all parents are at this stage the happiest man in the world.

It's funny how things change, two weeks prior to my Daughter joining us I was eating anything I wanted. Now I look at the label and make sure there is no too much sugar content for my little one..

In October I ended up leaving Shaw Communications and started employment with a new Canadian wireless company called Wind Mobile. Since i am the only IT support in the West I have been very busy, I am hoping things will start to clam down now that we have launched.

Before the change in Employment I had been working on a new site which got put on hold because I was working 16+ hours days... I am going to start working on it again in the new year.

Canadianman30 has been kind enough to offer to help update the news section when articles come out. I do have two other people who have offered but for some reason forgot ... lol ... Maybe they will start to help out come the launch of the new site

With our last trip being just short of a disaster myself and Karen are finding it hard to get in the Disney mood. We even for a brief moment consider selling our DVC.

For the people that are not aware, when we were down Karen got food poison from one of our favorite places in MK which will rename nameless as i know a lot of people eat there.

She ended up being in the hospital for 4 days. The management at SSR stepped up and was a real big help to me during this very stressful time, it might be a good Segment for the Northern Mouse Podcast if Carlos would like it .. so I will leave out all the details until then.

When I started this site years ago I did it with the plan on making it a true community site, where I am not just the "Boss" or some crap like that... I would love if some members would take a more active role in the site so we can build this place to be the biggest and the best on the web as a community.

- If your interested in helping out or have any ideas, drop me a Private message or email me - A little goes a long way

Absolutely do a segment for the show I know what you mean about being busy. Being with family is more important than anything else your daughter will grow so fast. I'm still waiting for your DVC segment sounds like it may take a different tone. I ate at the same place last trip thankfully we were ok. I do hope people will step up and give you a hand I know how much work it is putting something like this together I wish I had more time maybe when I win the lottery I can do this full time Wink
