Penny Presses

Hello Everyone! I know that the penny presses at WDW accept CDN pennies, but will they also accept CDN quarters? I've collected a few US quarters, but since you can't buy them at the bank, I"m stuck. I was hoping to have a couple of tubes of quarters and pennies ready for the kids for when we down there!
Anyways, thanks in advance!

Our DD collect the pressed pennies at WDW and to be honest we have never tried (or thought to try) CDN pennies and quarters. It just seems I'm always getting a pocket full of change down there, so we just pick out the pennies and quarters.
Interesting question....

Same here, we used the coins we collected in our pockets there. Always seemed to have lots of pennies. Never tried Canadian coins for the pressor or pressee.

I never thought about trying it either.

I don't think it would work ... if you've ever found a wayward US quarter in your change up here, you'll notice that it is slightly heavier and thicker than our own.

We collect a lot of the pressed pennies. You must use US quarters and the older US pennies work best because there is less zinc in them and they're softer. Don't worry about not having quarters any of the stores will gladly make change for you they sometime even even give you a the penny for free if you let them know its for the press.

I concur. We could not use our Canadian Quarters during our last visit.
