Honeymoon Registry...

Hi - I think most folks know that Disney has a honeymoon registry program. It works really well, and I've booked several honeymoons with this program (straight and gay, as a matter of fact - :-)... quite proud of that, given Florida isn't always the most gay friendly place in the world... a la issues with gays adopting foster kids, etc.... however, Disney, being the great forward-thinking corporation that it is, it doesn't give two hoots with the honeymoon registry....)

Anyhoo... thought I'd let you know (in honour of Valentines) that my company has just set up a honeymoon registry as well - which can help with things other than Disney and/or even supplement the Disney one (cause you can use funds for flights, etc. - whatever...)

Travel Counsellors has registry cards that can be included in the mailout of the wedding invites that will let guests know that the couple has decided to celebrate their wedding with an unforgettable honeymoon. Instead of a traditional bridal registry, the bride/groom lets folks know that they've decided to open a Honeymoon Registry, with me looking after their dream Honeymoon.

Folks can contribute via cheque or credit card, and funds are accumulated to pay for the honeymoon.
